We have often seen individuals and families who have suffered serious injuries or death and financial losses from negligent drivers whose driving results in serious consequences and harm to others on the road.
In an ideal world, drivers would execute every road maneuver with precision and ease.
Unfortunately that isn’t the case and not everyone walks away from metal-to-metal mayhem.
The truth is some drivers are too brash while others are too conservative.
The common thread is that they can all turn a pleasant day on the on the motorway into a surreal nightmare in a blink of an eye.

Every one is guilty of making common driving mistakes that can endanger us all. To help you stay safe behind the wheel, here’s a list of driving behaviors to avoid:
Swerving
The No. 1 fatal mistake made by driving is perhaps the most simple: not staying in their own lane – that is, running off the road or drifting into the adjacent lane.
Driving while Sleepy / Tired
Driving a vehicle when you are tired is as dangerous as driving while impaired by alcohol or drugs. More traffic fatalities occur during the hours when most people are accustomed to being asleep (3am to 6am) than at any other time of day.
Drinking and Driving
Every hour, someone dies in a drunk-driving accident.
Young drivers are particularly prone to drinking and driving. The 21 to 34-year-old set is responsible for well over half of the alcohol-infused fatal crashes.
Not surprisingly, the decision to get behind the wheel while intoxicated happens mostly at night and on weekends.
Running A Red Light or Stop Sign
Believe it or not, people run red lights and stop signs frequently. These cases often results in serious injuries or deaths.
As you can imagine, drivers involved in these cases, usually never see the other car coming before it is too late.
Speeding
This is an obvious common mistake that we have all done like racing, driving faster than the posted speed limit or simply going too fast.
In circumstances where a driver is driving so fast it becomes reckless, or in cases were a driver speeds under adverse weather conditions, fatalities can occur.
The worst-case scenarios invariably involve speeding without wearing a seat belt or a motorcycle helmet.
Overcorrecting
Sometimes, when a driver is not paying attention on the road, they can drift into other lanes or even completely off the road.
When a driver attempts to correct this action by quickly swerving or overcorrecting, the results can be devastating not only for the driver, but for others on the road as well.
At times, you get panicky when the wheels of your SUV hit the rumble patch on the shoulder of the highway, so you throw the steering wheel in the opposite direction to get the vehicle back on the road and it’s a particularly perilous manoeuvre when you are the wheel of an SUV driving on the highway at high speeds. A rollover may happen.
Overcorrecting and swerving are both common mistakes that result in serious accidents to many drivers.
Inattentive Driving
Too many times we think we can multi-task while driving. Driving while doing something else is never a good idea because you are not focused on the most important task which is to drive sofely to your destination.
There has been a lot of hype and media coverage over road accidents due to distracted driving such as talking to and texting on cell phones, eating and drinking, putting on makeup, reading road maps, trying to do too much with the CD player or radio or looking at something on the road or nearby.
It is becoming increasing a problem among drivers everywhere in the world.
Always remember that a little mistake can lead to a serious car accident.
