T&G Academy is a household name when it appears to hair! Established since 1992, T&G (Profile Master (M) Sdn Bhd) is the first Accredited Centre for Hairdressing in state Melaka. The professional training provides 32 weeks training and an additional 28 days salon training ensuring an all-around learning experience.
The setup of this academy is in line with the country’s Vision 2020 to upgrade the Malaysian workforce into highly skilled knowledge workers and push Malaysia into the International Market. As such training centres that fulfill ALL stipulated conditions and guidelines set by Majlis Latihan Vokasional Kebangsaan (MLVK) under Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran, Kementerian Sumber Manusia may apply for verification for the status as an accredited centre and therefore allowed to offer certified vocational training courses.
This programme is part of the National Dual Training System to further support our nation’s vision. For those unable to finish their SPM or schooling this is an especially suited programme. Students will get an allowance every month for a year, and yet awarded two Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (1 & 2) at the end of the course. On top of this they will also be awarded a Professional Colour Certificate, Professional Perm Certificate and a T&G Academy Certificate. Students are ensured a job upon completion of the course.
