EARLY childhood knowledge prepares each child in his early stages of list as this period is very important in terms of child development. The high demand for workforce in this field has encouraged PTPL College to offer the Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
Students pursuing this programme will gain exposure in curriculum management, assessment, early games for children, safety and nutrition, teaching skills and techniques to manage programmes.
The programme is producing graduates who are able to interact effectively with children in learning situations by using methods of teaching and management-based construction of a positive learning environment. In addition, they are able to appreciate the role of cognitive, physical, emotional development, creativity and language a child uses.
The two-and-a-half-year programme is offered to school leavers with three credits in any subject in SPM with priority given to Bahasa Malaysia, Maths and Science subjects. PTPL college also offers diploma programmes under the School of Business and Professional Studies that includes Diploma in Accounting, Diploma in Management, Diploma in Marketing, Diploma in Retail Management, Diploma in Human Capital Management and certificate programmes like Certificate in Business Management and Certificate in Early Childhood Education.
