HAN Chiang College (HCC) is having an Open Day at its Indoor Stadium from 9.30am to 5pm tomorrow and on Sunday where a host of exciting activities such as course counseling, TV-hosting, short film screening, online games, balloon sculpting and competitions have been lined up.
The academic staff will be on hand to counsel students on their study option and the availability of loans and scholarships for its 3+- degree, diploma and foundation programmes.
The degree studies include Bachelor of Communication in collaboration with the University of Southern Queensland, Australia, BSc (Hons) in Computing and BA (Hons) in Business Management with the University Wolverhampton, UK.
HCC is now offering a 50% discount off the first semester tuition fees for all its 3+0 degree and foundation programmes – Foundation in Communication, Foundation in Business and Foundation in Computing.
With the next intake in November, students pursuing the Bachelor of Communication will gain and internationally recognised Australian degree with a double major in Public Relations and Journalism.
Intake for the foundation courses in this month and the Computing and Business Management degrees will commence in August.
In the pipeline is the 3+0 BA (Hons) Broadcasting and Journalism in collaboration with University of Wolverhamption and BA (Hons) Creative Digital Media with Teesside University, UK.
HCC also offers eight diploma programmes that are fully accredited by the Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA). New intake starts on April 4.
Diploma students are also required to undergo a 10-week internship with organizations related to their fields of study to expose them to the latest developments of the industry. HCC has academic collaborations with over 40 international partner universities in Australia, United Kingdom, New Zealand, China, Taiwan and the United States.
