The programme has received accreditation from the Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) and is endorsed by the Nursing Board Malaysia and the Ministry of Higher Education. Upon completion of the programme, an award of 50 credit points can be obtained from the Nursing Board Malaysia.
Nurses who pursue the bachelor’s degree will have the benefit of undertaking a foreign degree programme at a local fee. Furthermore, all students registered with this programme are considered as students of University of Sunderland and thus, will have access to the resources and can even attend the graduation ceremony in Sunderland. For interested candidates, assistance will be provided through PTPTN and EPF schemes.
Candidates with good results in Diploma in Pharmacy can continue their learning process through the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons). It is an off-shore programme and in collaboration with La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia.
For Medical Imaging Diploma holders, Masterskill offers the Bachelor of Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy (Hons). This double-degree programme is an integrated programme which includes both medical imaging for diagnosis purposes and radiotherapy for treatment purposes. It emphasizes the utilization of X-ray energy in sophisticated and advanced instrumentation used in medical facilities all around the world.
Professionals in the field of general healthcare could continue pursuing higher academic level in Masterskill. The university college with 18,000 students also offers Bachelor of Science (Hons) Healthcare Management and Master of Science in Healthcare Management. These programmes demonstrate in-depth instruction regarding comprehensive management of a healthcare service.
