PREPARING children with excellent English abilities is certainly among the most important things needed by children to face the challenging world.
CIC Enrichment Centre, chief executive officer Qutren Nada Ahmad, said, “if we want them to participate successfully in the global society and in the workplace of 2020, we have to prepare our children with English literacy abilities and expose them to international cultures”.
CIC is now providing international courses in its Oxford Reader courses. The courses are conducted by international tutors. Oxford Reader is a comprehensive reading programme which provides everything needed to develop fluent, confident and motivated readers for life.
The students will read a large range of fiction and non-fiction with a comprehensive mix of language activities to support reading development. This reading course is opened to children between the ages of five and 11 and the classes are held on Saturdays.
CIC Enrichment Centre, formerly known as Children Islamic Centre, is one of the largest Islamic education centre with over 2,000 students in 25 locations, offering preschool, playschool and afterschool programmes. This international class is only offered at CIC Bangsar.
Qutren said,” This is an excellent opportunity to expose the children to an international environment. All nationalities, Muslim or non-Muslim are welcome.”
