More than 8000 students are pursuing their studies at various diploma, degree and postgraduate levels at MAHSA University College, one of the leading Medical and Allied Health Science Institution oin Malaysia. These numbers are increasing every year.

The university college has designed a Foundation in Science (FIS) programme that bridges the way for students with SPM or O-Level or other equivalent qualifications to pursue degrees in the fields of Medicine, Dentistry and related programmes.
The Foundation in Science is a one-year programme, providing students with in-depth exposure to various science and Information Technology.
With well-equipped classrooms and conductive classes, active learning is encouraged. Qualified lecturers employ proven teaching methods.
Seminars, career talks, educational visits and many other activities are conducted to develop the students and enrich them with sufficient knowledge and confidence to meet the challenges of the real world.
MAHSA’s Foundation in Science programme uses English as the medium of instruction for all subjects.
Upon completing the FIS course, students have the advantage of gaining a direct entry to any of the degree programmes offered at MAHSA University College. Students can choose to venture out into the field of Medicine (MBBS), Dentistry (DDS), Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Radiography, Environmental Health, Biomedical Sciences or Psychology.
There are two different entry requirements to join MAHSA’s FIS.
FIS students who want to pursue degrees in Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy (MPharm) must have at least grade B in Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in their SPM. A pass in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.
FIS students who want to pursue a degree in Physiotherapy, Nursing, Radiography, Enviromental Health, Biomedical Sciences and Psychology must at least have five credits in SPM which include Mathematics and any two science subjects. A pass in English and BM is required.
Students can use the SPM/O-Level trial exam results to apply for the FIS programme.
MAHSA graduates are not only knowledgeable and clinically competent, but are also trained to become aware of their social responsibilities as healthcare professionals. Apart from the FIS programme, the university college also offers a wide range of certificate, diploma, degree and postgraduate programmes.
