THE Modern Home Fair first started in January 2007. This event was conceptualized as a one-stop shop for all home needs and services as well as platform for companies in the home industry to come together and promote their latest products to the consumers.
It provided an excellent business opportunity for exhibitors to reach out to prospective customers in large numbers, especially in the Klang Valley.
Following great response from visitors and shoppers during the early shows, Modern Home Fair has since been held at least three times annually.
Organized by BW Cyans Advertising Sdn Bhd and its management arm Cyan Event Management , Modern Home Fair expanded to the Malacca market for the first time last July, after establishing itself in its KL homebase.
Preparation for the 14th Edition Modern Home Fair is already under way. This upcoming exhibition will take place from March 25-27 at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre.

The last Modern Home Fair at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre attracted almost 60,000 visitors and shoppers during the three-day event.
Yong added, “Exhibitors who participate in the Modern Home Fair will enjoy a bigger share of business as we place a limit on the same category of products and services. In other words, each exhibitor has the advantage of facing less competition at the fair, thus capturing more customer attention.”
To ensure the success of the 14th Edition Modern Home Fair, the organizer will embark on its extensive A&P programme. In addition to press advertisements, billboards and bunting, the organizer has invested over RM150,000 worth of prizes for its “Spin & Sure Win” contest to attract more business and visitors to the show.
Shoppers who spend RM200 and above in a single receipt will be eligible to spin the wheel for great prizes.
The best part of the “Spin and Sure Win” is that every participant is guaranteed a prize.
Big spenders who do not wish to participate in “Spin and Sure Win” may opt for an attractive appreciation gift from the organizer.
The Modern Home Fair occupies the entire floor space of the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre. Covering approximately 5,700sq m which includes Hall 1, 2, 3 and the Atrium, it is able to accommodate up to 320 booths.
