BACK in October 2010, SmartPools – one of the world’s leading swimming pool and luxury spa brand – attracted over 20,000 visitors to their booth and had the honour of being bestowed the Good Quality and Good Design award at the Homedec exhibition at the KL Convention Centre.
It was a proud moment for the organization as it was the first time SmartPools participated in a local lifestyle event after a series of international roadshows. Prior to that, out of over 350 European and North American companies, SmartPools won an honorary commendation for being a Piscina Barcelona Innovation Awards finalist in 2009.
The SmartPools are equipped with the patented Laminar Aqua Propulsion System (LAPS) technology that creates river-like water currents, making the product a world-class-all-in-one-swimming treadmill.
The technology is fully variable in terms of speed via a smart control panel and can be used for practically any application – be it relaxation, general wellness, fitness, athletic training or therapy. The aim for customers to have an Olympic-sized swimming pool experience without sacrificing space, money or time.

Apart from the LAPS technology, SmartPools are equipped with a proprietary Integrated Box making installation modular and fast.
The SmartPools PowerLap EZ is a plug and play device which converts any existing pool into a SmartPools and can be easily installed without any hacking or damage to the pool. SmartPools can be fitted indoors or outdoors, in-ground or above ground.
The entire structure is made of Advanced Marine Grade Composite materials and get-coated with FGI Australia’s Aquaguard range for trouble-free service and maintenance.

Once the SmartPools Near Zero Chlorine System has been installed, users save a lot as chemical expenses are eliminated. The system uses copper ionization combined with ultraviolet light, which has a faster and longer kill rate in comparison with chlorine or bromine.
Apart from a healthier alternative for daily water treatment, the near-zero chlorine filtration system also helps to save on electricity due to reduced filtration cycle time.
