TempSmart is a ticking with excellent heat-absorbing and heat-releasing effects that helps one to balance the temperature for optimal sleep comfort. The heat-absorbing and heat-releasing effects are due to the application of a specific patented phase-changing material.
How does TempSmart work?
TemSmart’s phase change material is a surface treatment.
This means that more capsules can be put around a fibre surface than inside a fibre – a benefit which gives you the possibility for higher heat-absorbing and heat-releasing capacities.
TempSmart’s phase change material is universal. This means that it is applicable on every quality, in woven or knitted form and thereby very flexible in comparison with other technologies.
TempSmart’s phase change material is a vegetable oil. This means it has higher heat-absorbing and heat-releasing efficiency, better breathability and softer touch than the phase change material octadecane (oil-based) which is used in other products with similar function.
TempSmart’s pahse change material is put in a reactive capsule, so there is no need for binders.
This has several advantages: durable and washable effects, softer touch, better breathability and a thermal conduction between the capsules. The TempSmart mattress border with its combined use of an exclusive Spacer material and its various uniquely designed upholstery layers using high performance convoluted foam and premium grade lambswool give very good ventilation to the total mattress. this will ensures a comfortable and cool sleep all night long.
